In this section of the test you will have the chance to show how well you understand spoken English. There are four parts to this section with special directions for each part.
PART I. Pictures

Directions:                 
There are three items in this part.   For each item, you will see a picture on your test paper and you will hear four short statements. The statements will be spoken TWICE. They will not be printed on your test paper, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say. When you hear the four statements, look at the picture on your test paper and choose the statement that best describes what you see in the picture. PART II. Questions and Responses

Directions:     
There are four items in this part of the test. For each item, you will hear a question or statement spoken in English followed by three responses also spoken in English. They will be spoken TWICE. They will not be printed in your test paper, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers are saying. You have to choose the best response  to each or statement and mark it on your answer sheet.

Now listen to a sample question.

You will also hear       A. No more than an hour.
   B. I hate line-ups.

The best response to the question “Did you have to wait very long?” is choice (A) “No more than an hour.” Therefore, you should choose answer (A).

PART III. Short Conversation

Directions:                 
There are four items in this part of the test. For each item, you will hear a short conversation between two people. You will hear the conversations TWICE. They will not be printed in your test paper, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers are saying.
                                   
In your test paper, you will read a question about each conversation. The question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.

                                    Man                 : Did you finish the homework I gave last week?

You will read  :           Where does the dialogue probably take place?

Answer (D) – “At a school.” – is the best answer to the question “Where does the dialogue take place?” Therefore, you should mark (D) on your answer sheet.

Each question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.

Susi Pudjiastuti was born in 15 January 1965. She is the President Director of PT ASI Pudjiastuti Marine Product, which exports fishery products. In addition, she also leads Susi Air, a regional airline company under PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation.
Her background past is not associated with a smooth sailing story. Susi, who posses only middle school education certificate, was forced to discontinue her schooling and started a profession as a fish collector in Pangandaran. She then managed to build her own fish processing plan in 1996.
When her fish processing business expanded to the Asian and American markets, Susi needed an air transportation that is able to fast deliver her lobsters, fishes and other marine products, so that the buyers could received them in a fresh condition.
Supported by Christian von Strombeck, her German husband, Susi then decided to purchase one unit of Cessna Caravan. For the purchase, she borrowed Rp. 20 billion from the bank in 2004. This was the start of her Susi Air business.
The president said that Susi Pudjiastuti is a hard working entrepreneur, who successfully built her business from zero. Based on her track record, Jokowi  believes that she is able to deploy a series of improvement to policies that are issued by the Ministry for Maritime and Fishery Affairs.
